Hawthorne at the Park

The staff here is incredibly accommodating and helpful. Maintenance is prompt and competent. I have had odd experiences with neighbors, but that could very well mean that I’m the odd neighbor lol(my neighbor claps his hands in repetition at strange hours of the night and will repeat doing such even when it’s dead silent over here… I do occasionally play music at a decent volume, but I cannot hear it myself when I close the door… I also have reason to believe there is a hacker on the premises… 🤷)… Other than that, location is perfect and the majority of other tenants here are very kind. Renewed my lease in February. Overall, A+!

I’ve lived here for just under two years now. It seems I am never at a lack of reasons to not enjoy living here. The insect (specifically cockroach) problem has always driven me insane, I have never had to deal with so many bugs in my home before. I’m not sure if it’s old, shoddy infrastructure or the lack of care around the property outside of lawn upkeep. The laundry room is always disgusting and you would think they would try to keep it clean considering majority of the people here have to use it. I’ll never forget the time my roommates and I went nearly 3 weeks with no hot water (in the winter) and the people simply did not care because it was not “an emergency.” The fake care and sympathy they give makes me so fuming. We have a street lamp on the crooked sidewalk in front of our building that has been out of service for months now and they keep giving us empty promises about fixing it. I have put up with the new management company for far too long now, i pay good money to live in a very very cheap apartment and I am so severely over it. Please, for the sake of your tenants, try harder.

Great place to live and very friendly staff. Whitney in the office and TJ in maintenance have been great with helping with making the move in process so smooth and fun. The weekly community events are great and I love all of the trees around the parking lot that make the summers feel a lot less hot. Great dog friendly area and the pool is great, apartments are spacious, and it's a convenient, safe area close to shopping and highways to downtown.
